Heritage Open Days 19th & 20th September 2026

Halswell Park will be joining together with St Edward’s Church, Goathurst and the Temple of Pan in the Patcombe Valley for the annual Heritage Opening Days Festival. St Edward’s and Halswell will be open between 12 noon and 5 pm. On-site FREE parking, FREE entry. The house state rooms will be open to view, there will be a talk and a roof tour 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm (limited numbers, first come first served). There will be a marked heritage walk taking in St Edward’s, Halswell Parkland and follies and the Temple of Pan. Please note that the heritage walk takes place in open countryside where there are steep drops, deep water, uneven ground and animal holes. Well behaved dogs are welcome with their carers on a short lead, please clean up after them and do not leave poo bags in the countryside for others to clear away. Children must be kept under close supervision.
