As part of the refurbishment and conservation of Halswell House and its associated buildings and landscape, the Halswell Team have an obligation to commission various surveys and reports before, during and after works. Copies of the archaeology and ecological reports can be downloaded below.
Archaeology
In 2018 Oakford Archaeology took over the role as site Archaeologist and produced an updated Written Scheme of Investigation to support an extensive programme of internal and external refurbishment and conservation. Ecology Reports
Colmer Ecology Ltd have been commissioned to cover the role of licenced ecologist and to undertake wildlife surveys, produce reports and carry out regular monitoring as required by an on-going European Protected Species License.
